Come to the mat to appreciate the abilities of your body, while honoring the always fluctuating physical and energetic limitations that comes with being human. Yoga has been proven to reduce stress, manage anxiety and depression. We all ebb and flow, wax and wane just as all of nature does. When we honor our nature we nurture ourselves.
Sarah Jean White is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Yoga Instructor with clinical continuing education on utilizing Yoga as a therapeutic mental health modality to bridge the mind/body gap. Sarah has been rolling out her mat for 21 years to learn how to do self check in's. Her passion comes from lived experience that she is eager to share.
Class is structured into 3 parts. Warm up, Slow Vinyasa Flow, ending with Yin & Restorative. You will be provided with props to meet your body's needs. Singing bowl meditation, aromatherapy and low gentle lighting to restore & reset the nervous system. All Levels.
